No touch dribbling looks great

IF only the real-world politics threatening to tear FIFA apart could be replicated in-game - now that would be some bullet-point on the back of the box for EA's marketing gurus. But instead we must content ourselves with a typically conservative update that will annoy fans of FIFA's 16 fast-paced drama. This year's effort for 2017 remains a supremely polished game of football. It's stuffed from end to end with content, slickly presented and incorporates even more live updates from Fifa 17 Coins  the big leagues around the globe - minus the likes of the Blatter saga, obviously.

No touch dribbling looks great but it requires a player of considerable skill. The other noticeable addition to this year's version is the ‘no touch dribbling' control option, which allows you perform feints and fake shifts of direction while running just behind the ball, without actually touching it. The animations are spot on and playing online multiplayer with a four or five star-rated team, it is a cunning tactic that often draws fouls.

Against the AI with players of lesser ability, however, it is less effective. It's worth noting, however, that these new features generally work better with higher-rated players/teams within the game. As much as you'd like to take Preston North End to the Premier League with a Pep Guardiola-esque counterattack, it will require plenty of  Buy Fifa Coins time (and a few new signings) in order to pull it off.
